A dog breeder that has a strict breeding policy for it's kennels will have healthy puppies.
The coat of the dogs is waterproof, it is rough and these dogs almost do not shed. They come in a variety of colors, with brindle shades predominating, thus they can be any color but white. Adult color cannot be reliably predicted based on the puppy coat, as the adult coat can be markedly darker, eventually approaching black.
